Flagd It

Privacy Policy

Effective April 8, 2026

Flagd It: Sport Highlight Clip ("Flagd It," "we," "our," or "the app") is a video recording and editing app for iPhone. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

What the App Accesses

Flagd It requests access to your device's camera, microphone, and photo library. These permissions are required for the app's core functionality: recording video, capturing audio, importing videos, and saving exported clips and highlight reels to your photo library.

What We Collect

Flagd It does not collect personal data, track your activity, or use advertising. The only data transmitted from your device is optional diagnostic information that you explicitly choose to send when submitting a bug report (see Diagnostic Data below). All video recording, editing, and processing happens entirely on your device.

Diagnostic Data

When you use the "Report a Problem" feature in Settings, the app assembles a diagnostic report that may include: your written description of the issue, app version and build number, device model and iOS version, a summary of recent app states (such as which screens were visited and whether recording was active), and Apple MetricKit performance data. You can choose whether to include diagnostic details via a toggle before submitting.

Diagnostic data is designed to be privacy-safe. It does not include video content, filenames, photo library identifiers, text overlay contents, names, or any user-created media. Diagnostic reports are transmitted securely over HTTPS and are used solely to identify and fix bugs.

If you do not use the Report a Problem feature, no diagnostic data is transmitted from your device.

No Accounts Required

Flagd It does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app.

No Advertising

Flagd It does not display advertisements and does not share any information with advertisers.

Your Data Stays on Your Device

All videos, clips, highlight reels, text overlays, and session data are stored locally on your iPhone. When you export a clip or reel, it is saved to your device's photo library. We do not access, upload, or transmit your video content. The only data that leaves your device is the optional diagnostic report described above, sent only when you choose to submit it.

Bluetooth Devices

Flagd It supports optional Bluetooth remote clickers for hands-free flagging during recording. Bluetooth connections are handled by iOS and no data from connected devices is collected or transmitted by the app.

Children's Privacy

Flagd It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app does not require an account or any personal data to function.

Contact for Support

If you have questions about this privacy policy or need help with the app, contact us at support@flagdit.app.

Your Rights

Flagd It does not collect personal data through normal use. The only data transmitted is optional diagnostic reports you choose to send. All content you create in the app is stored on your device and can be deleted by you at any time through the app or your photo library.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
